Mapping Outcomes to your Blackboard Course

Blackboard offers a goals tool which allows instructors to map their outcomes to course activities, assignments, and assessments.

Associate Goals to Course

Follow the links in the list below or click through the embedded image to see the visual steps.

1. Click on Course Tools and choose goals
   
2. Browse through courses and select yours
3. Select all the goals / outcomes associated with your course.

Align Goals to Activities

Follow the links in the list below or click through the embedded image to see the visual steps.

1. Find the assignment or assessment you'd like to map. Click the action link and add alignments.
   
2. Select the goals / outcomes associated with this activity.
3. NOTE: Align Discussions, Blogs and Journals through the grade center column.

Run Reports

To run an outcome performance report:

1. Expand Evaluations menu and choose Course Reports.
   
2. Run Course Performance Report
