How to View a Single Student's Grades in Blackboard

When conferencing with a student, you may want to show them their grades in Blackboard, but you do not want to show the entire class grade center. This post will show you how to display a single student's grades in the grade center.

1. Log in to Blackboard and visit the class your student is enrolled in.
2. Locate the student in the Full Grade Center.
3. Click the arrow next to the student's name (first or last name is fine)
4. From the menu, select Hide Other Rows
   
5. Now you will see ONLY one student's performance in the grade center
6. You can click on grade center Smart Views and the single student will continue to be displayed
7. When finished, you can restore the full class view in the grade center by once again opening the menu next to the student's name.
8. Click Show All Rows
   
9. Your grade center will now display grades for all students once again
