How to Send a Link to a Kaltura Video

Do you want to send a link to your Kaltura video to a student? This new process makes that easier than ever.

Access Kaltura in Blackboard

1. Log in to Blackboard and click Tools in the base navigation menu.
2. Click the Kaltura Videos link to open your My Media page
3. From your media list, click on the name of the media you want to share
4. When the media page loads, click to play the video, then the share icon will appear at the top right of the video player
5. Clicking the share icon will open a layer that has your link. Click the icon to the right of the link to copy.
6. Paste it into an email or use it to create a hyperlink in your Blackboard course.

Access Kaltura in MediaSpace

1. Log in to MediaSpace 
2. From your media list, click on the name of the media you want to share
3. When the media page loads, find the share icon at the top right of the media preview
4. Clicking the share icon will open a layer that includes the link to your video.
5. Copy the link and paste it into an email or use it to create a hyperlink in your Blackboard course.
