Upload Existing Media to Kaltura

If you made a video using a device other than the Kaltura Capture recorder or KMS Go, you can still upload your media to the Kaltura server.

Upload Existing Media in Blackboard

1. Log in to Blackboard
2. In the top right area of the screen, below your name, click Kaltura Media (Desktop Recorder)
3. Wait for the My Media page to load. It may take several seconds.
4. Click Add New (near top right of page), then Media Upload
5. Choose a file to upload from your computer
6. Edit the name and other information as necessary then click Save at the bottom.
7. The video will now be available in the My Media area.

Upload Existing Media in MediaSpace

1. Log in to MediaSpace
2. In the top right area of the screen, click Add New, then Media Upload
3. Choose a file to upload from your computer
4. Edit the name and other information as necessary then click Save at the bottom.
5. The video will now be available in the My Media area.
