Use Kaltura Media in Blackboard Discussion Posts
In Blackboard, you can add Kaltura media directly into a discussion post with just a few clicks. This page explains the updated process for adding Kaltura videos to discussion posts.
How to Post a Kaltura Video in a Blackboard Discussion
- Create a thread or reply in a discussion.
- Within your post, place the cursor where you want the video to appear
- Expand the editor toolbar if it is collapsed
- Click the Add Content button in the toolbar. It can be found at the right end of the bottom row of the toolbar.
- Select Kaltura Videos - Embed Media from the menu
- Your Kaltura media library will open.
- For an existing video, find the desired video, then Click </>Embed to the right of the video
- Or record a video on-the-spot using Express Capture.
- The video will now be embedded in your post. Click Submit at the bottom to post your work
